The fire brigade in Lomma and Burlöv were alerted at 22:15 pm on the 11th of October to a burning preschool at Sjögräsgatan in Lomma. The first force from Lomma was equipped with a cutting extinguisher that quickly was set in towards the fire. After a while other forces arrived from Lomma and Burlöv and interior firefighting began. Firefighters placed out overpressure fans to ventilate the premises from smoke. At 23:20 pm the fire was under control but after damping-down operations is likely to last at least another hour. |
