Competitors
Since there are no other products in the market featuring the unique characteristics of the Cutting Extinguisher the "competition" consists only of established companies defending their existing products.
At present there are, for example, several high-pressure based mobile firefighting systems operating at various pressures between 20-80 bar and quantities of water at the rate of 10-500 litre/min. None of these high-pressure systems feature the unique cutting ability of the Cutting Extinguisher. Neither do any of these systems have a spray and/or vaporising capacity that can compete with the Cutting Extinguisher.
Against this background it is not really relevant to compare the Cutting Extinguisher with other firefighting systems that are based on the fact that one must:
- open the fire area to gain access to the actual fire, resulting in oxygen being supplied to the area with consequential unfavourable effects on the course of the fire.
- stand with the firefighting equipment exposed to radiation heat from hot fire gases and also risk the danger of injury by fire gas explosion.
- expose oneself to fire gases that may contain detrimental toxic and carcinogenic substances.
make holes/open constructions such as walls, roofs, double floors, ventilation ducts, before extinguishing action can actually begin.
