New technology prevented Peter Hjörnes house from bruning down

"New technology prevented Peter Hjörnes house in Marstrand from burning down during the night between Friday and Saturday". This was one of the headlines in the local newspaper "Kungälvsposten" on May 7th. Peter is the owner of GP, the main newspaper in Gothenburg, and mayor shareholder of the media group Stampen AB.

Marstrand is a popular sailing resort on the west coast, in Sweden, and the host for the prestigious Match Cup Sweden event. The island is connected to the main land with a line ferry. The Rescue Service bought a Mercedes Sprinter equipped with a coldcut™ cobra cutting extinguisher in 2011, and are new users of the tool and method. When they arrived to the house the fire was fully developed with flames from the roof and the windows. Despite the strong wind, the Rescue Services managed to extinguish the fire and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent houses, by using the cutting extinguisher.
