Cold Cut Systems (CCS) has been very successful in the UK over the last few years. The UK market has become the biggest market for CCS, and it continues to demonstrate strong growth. The market is expected to grow significantly during the next few years, as the Cobra is setting the standard for modern and safe fire fire-fighting procedures in the UK and elsewhere.

CCS now wish to expand and complement the current team in the UK with a sales representative. The primary task will be promoting cobra via meetings with UK municipal and industrial fire services, and also synchronising with our established product demonstrations, strategic sales initiatives etc.

Cold Cut Systems AB is a prospering company within the sector of fire-fighting. This is a dedicated organisation with long term ambitions and complete backing from its industrial owners. The company is represented worldwide by a network of distributors in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. As the company has had very strong market development, there is now a need to strengthen the UK organisation with a Sales Manager.

Cold Cut Systems is dominant in the field of Cutting Extinguishing systems. The main product, the patented coldcut™ cobra, provides the fire fighter with a unique and highly efficient and complimentary method to fight fires from the outside, at a safe position in relation to the fire.

The coldcut™ cobra uses high pressure water to penetrate any building material rapidly and pierces a very small hole into the fire compartment. The water mist created on the inside dramatically lowers the temperature and thus in an efficient way extinguishes the fire. Combined action using cutting extinguishers, thermo cameras and positive pressure fans has proved to be very effective in many fires and fighting scenarios.

Job Description

  • Active sales in the UK and ROI to the fire services – municipal, metropolitan and industrial
  • Promote the Cobra Cutting Extinguisher to (mainly) new potential customers
  • Facilitating end customers objectives, assisting the development of Cobra solutions and technical tender specifications
  • Support Coach builders when tendering for Cobra RFPs

Profile Description

  • Very well connected within the fire service market in the UK with a solid contact network
  • Ideally experience with coach builders or from suppliers of technical firefighting equipment such as pumps, hydraulic cutting equipment, extinguishing systems etc
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant Sales and/or Sales Management experience required.
  • Proven ability to interface effectively with all levels of customer management,
  • Self-motivated, energetic, extrovert, accountable, with a focus on results.
  • Relationship-oriented
  • Technical education and/or experience
  • Experience within the fire equipment industry, emergency services  or heavy vehicles market is an advantage
  • Participate in the entire process of decision making, negotiation, implementation and continuous further development.
  • Self motivated, and capable of managing complex sales channels, and able to negotiate on behalf of the company
  • Take part at trade fairs; help build specific marketing material, presentations, product training and support on technical issues.

Scope

  • Minimally 50% engagement level
  • Consultancy / self –employed preferred, but employment can be arranged
  • Ability and willingness to travel, mainly within the UK and ROI
