coldcut handifighter
The coldcut™ handifighter is a conventional jet/spray nozzle which, when connected to a cutting extinguisher system, delivers a pressure of about 7-8 bar with a water flow of up to 60 liters per minute. The jet/spray nozzle is designed to complement the hand lance to achieve an increased area of use for the cutting extinguisher equipment in fighting fires.
Before use:
To ensure that no abrasive is present in the system, the system should be flushed clean of abrasive before the coldcut™ handifighter is connected. This is done by flushing the system with water for 3 x 20 seconds.
Instructions:
The coldcut™ handifighter is connected to the hose in the same way as the hand lance. In order to provide water to the jet/spray nozzle, use “manual” mode when you run the cutting extinguisher equipment. No abrasive should be connected to the system when the coldcut™ handifighter is in use!
Safety:
Should the pressure exceed 10 bar, open the safety valve fitted to the jet/spray nozzle. For security reasons, it is not possible for the jet/spray nozzle to be turned off completely; it must be operated from the base unit. Cold Cut Systems’ protective sleeving should always be used with the coldcut™ handifighter.
