Cobra Use Case | MPN for Small-Scale Fires

News

Expand Cobra’s capabilities with a low-pressure option when the UHPL is not required.

The Cobra Multi-Purpose Nozzle (MPN) is designed for small-scale fire response where the UHPL Cobra lance is not required but controlled, efficient suppression still matters.

With a quick coupling to the existing Cobra hose, crews can switch to the MPN within seconds and apply lower-pressure water for tasks such as waste bin fires, grass fires, post-extinguishment control, and cooling in tight or urban environments.

The adjustable spray pattern, reduced splashback, and straightforward handling make the MPN a practical complement to the Cobra setup already in use.

Ideal when Cobra is deployed and a lower water flow is sufficient.

Cobra – a tool in the toolbox

All fires are different, and Cobra is not a tool suitable for all situations. However, the application areas are constantly developing, and we continue to learn from Cobra users about new situations where Cobra can be an efficient tool. Our Cobra Use Cases are descriptions of possible areas of use. They are based on our own and our users’ experiences. One example is how the Cobra MPN expands the situations where Cobra can be used effectively.
