This time the venue was Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, who kindly hosted the course at their training facility in Eastleigh. The course was delivered to already competent Cobra users and was therefore tailored to suit their requirements, focusing on both external and internal use of Cobra on compartment fires, utilising both the standard and the short tactical lance.
There were many discussions around other uses of Cobra, including its proven track record over the last eight years on Li-ion EV battery fires. We would like to thank H&IoW FRS for hosting the course, making us feel welcome during our time with them. We look forward to maintaining the relationships that have been built and developing new ones in the future.
