The system can be used to cut through materials such as steel and concrete, combining strength with precision. While Cobra is capable of cutting through most common building materials, the time required will depend on thickness, structure, and conditions.
The real effect comes after the initial cut – when the fine high-pressure water mist is introduced into the fire compartment, cooling hot fire gases and reducing risk. But the ability to cut efficiently remains a key part of the method.
In real scenarios, the aim is always to find the most effective way in. If there is a window or door frame available, that will often be faster than going through a solid wall.

The ultra-high-pressure Cobra lance delivers a fine water mist that swiftly brings down extremely hot fire gases to much safer temperatures, cooling the fire compartment in moments. Using only 60 litres of water per minute (about 16 gallons), Cobra is highly efficient – a crucial advantage when water supplies are limited. This makes it possible to rapidly control or even extinguish fires with minimal water.
