The first ever Tactical Firefighting Instructor course took place at the Fire Service College in the UK last week, and we are proud to say that Cold Cut Systems formed part of the course.
We gave a short presentation on Cobra UHPL, including a brief history of its development and key specifications. We also discussed how Cobra can be used as part of a tactical option for dealing with certain types of fire, including high-rise and wind-driven fires. The students were also given the opportunity to operate the lance, including piercing through a range of materials and an opportunity to attack a well-developed compartment fire. Our contribution covered half a day of the extensive three-week course.
We look forward to participating at the next one in July.
