Cobra Skid Unit
The Cobra Skid Unit is a cutting extinguisher system (26 lpm and 280 bar) powered by an integral petrol engine and comes equipped with a Multi-Purpose Nozzle (MPN) as standard. The combination of Cobra and MPN makes it a very versatile unit. Adding the MPN broadens the use of the Cobra and provides an enhanced ability to manage many different firefighting scenarios.
MPN is a nozzle similar to conventional low-pressure nozzles and can provide variable spray patterns and nozzle pressures. The spray is easily adjusted from a very narrow to a wide cone spray jet. MPN operates hydraulically directly from the branch. The nozzle is easily connected onto the same hose used for the Cobra lance and can deliver the same amount of water, but at a lower pump pressure. The pressure at the nozzle varies depending on the nozzle setting selected by the operator.
The Cobra Skid Unit comes with the Cobra hand lance with Integrated Wire Control (IWC).
