Cobra is an effective firefighting tool for tackling fires in confined spaces with limited access, like walls, floors, ducting, and crawl spaces. It allows firefighters to attack the fire from the outside while keeping the enclosed space intact.
By piercing through materials using water and abrasive, Cobra creates a fine mist that suppresses or extinguishes the fire without introducing additional oxygen.
The Cobra hand lance can be used at various angles, reaching even smouldering fires in insulation. Using Cobra also minimizes water damage as most of the water evaporates.
With its efficient water usage of only 60 litres per minute at high pressure, Cobra can rapidly reduce high temperatures, enabling firefighters to control and contain fires more effectively, minimizing the risk of fire spread.
